Andi explained that fishery products don't have to be limited to fried or cooked fish. Various fishery ingredients can be developed into processed products with unique characteristics and higher sales value.
"Earlier, we tried one of the chili sauces made by a group on Pari Island, and it was delicious. This could be a menu highlight and add to the selling point," he explained.
Head Section of Fishery for the Sub-agency, Gama, stated this technical guidance is routinely carried out as an effort to increase the capacity of fishery product processing business actors.
"There are 20 participants from each region," he stated.
His party also provided processing equipment assistance to group representatives in the form of gas stoves, chest freezers, vacuum sealers, and gas hoses.
Meanwhile, one of the participants, Ernawati, admitted this technical guidance greatly supports business actors in improving their skills and developing processed fishery products to be more diverse and have sales value.
"Our products can be more diverse and have high sales value," she admitted.
